Water Softeners

We offer systems from Conception through to Commissioning whilst supporting the equipment with Routine Maintenance contracts. All units are Low Voltage operation (24 volts AC) Simplex or Duplex Softeners with Time clock or Meter controlled operation.

We also offer Skid mounted packages for easy installation by others and Break tank and Booster Pump sets to re-pressurise the Raw water feed supply. All Softener packages are designed and built by our in-house specialist team and can be built and designed to any specification required using Glass reinforced composite vessels and Multi-port control valves. Valve manifolds are constructed in Class “E” ABS.

Softeners can be offered from a minimum Flow rate of 0.3 m3h-1 up to a maximum flow rate of 240 m3h-1. Using Multi-port control valves or Full Frontal manifolds with Automated Butterfly valves. A free detailed survey can be offered as required to confirm the design parameters.

Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is now an acceptable alternative to Demineralised systems giving high quality water in the region of < 25 microsiemens or better with a duel pass R.O. or a Mixed bed Polisher cartridge. The R.O. Units also have the advantage of not using any regeneration chemicals and are low maintenance.

No Chemicals Low Maintenance

We offer a range of RO units from 0.8 m3h-1 to 60 m3h-1 Permeate flow rates. Each R.O. unit should be preceded with a Duplex Softener and a Carbon Filter unit to protect the membranes from damage. Compact footprints are available using Low-pressure membranes giving up to 75% recovery. The units come complete with Pressure gauges and Flow gauges for Permeate and Concentrate water. Pumps are available in Single –Phase and 3- Phase units using a microprocessor controller via level probes.

Following a detailed site survey and analysis the units will offer 75% recovery based upon a towns mains supply at approximately 10 to 15 deg C. A free detailed survey can be offered as required to confirm the design parameters.

Refurbishment

Ion Exchange and Filtration Media

As time goes by Ion exchange media becomes spent and broken and un-economical will require replacement.

We offer a free of charge Analysis to the ion exchange as part of a Routine service visit as required. Filter media will also require changing on a periodic basis to effect good filtration and removal of particles.

We offer comprehensive services to remove and install new media including safe disposal fro site to landfill. All of our engineers are Confined Space trained and have CCNSG Safety Passports.

Technical Services

Following the commissioning and on-site training of any of our water treatment packages we offer full support and breakdown services. We also offer Maintenance contracts to new and existing equipment manufactured by Sterling Hydrotech or others providing a detailed site survey can be carried out.

Service contracts can be tailored to suit sites individual needs and come complete with Emergency callout cover, which is guaranteed. As part of our Service Department back-up response we offer comprehensive service spares packages and spares for all types of water Softeners, Reverse Osmosis and Filtration equipment.

Following years of use the Ion exchange media will become beyond economical use and the media will require replacement. We offer an analysis of the media prior to replacement to prove the physical condition and exchange qualities. This is offered as a free analysis following a service visit. Once confirmed a quotation shall be offered to replace the media by our experienced service engineers.

From time to time most of the equipment for water treatment systems will require renewal or refurbishment. We offer part or full refurbishments of equipment as supplied by Sterling or others firms. A free detailed survey would be required for this purpose. A free detailed survey can be offered as required to confirm the design parameters.
